Zynga’s Star Wars game, Star Wars Hunters, has been officially revealed.
As part of the February 2021 Nintendo Direct, Zynga announced and showcased a brief video for Star Wars Hunters, a new Star Wars game from the primarily mobile-focused developer.

Zynga says this is a squad-based, online arena multiplayer game as far gameplay goes. However, plot details are largely under wraps. Zynga did reveal that Star Wars: Hunters will be set between the events of Star Wars Episode 6 and Star Wars Episode 7. So whatever transpires, it will be set during the same time period as The Mandalorian.
Zynga first confirmed its Star Wars game last year, with the creation of a new studio in Austin, Texas recently opened to develop the game, with plans to launch the new Star Wars project by the end of 2021. Star Wars: Hunters joins the ranks of other newly announced Star Wars games, including a new AAA Star Wars game from Ubisoft Massive in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.
Lucasfilm Games will serve as the new umbrella for Lucasfilm video game adaptations, which not only includes Star Wars but series like Indiana Jones as well.
